I manipulate memories, images, modds and whatever else develops as I go along.  Human figures, however simplified they may become, then to be present somewhere in what I do.

My favorite medium is oil on board.  I love the marks left by brushes and painting knives on hard surfaces.  This also applies to the manipluation of oil-based inks on the plates I use for my monotypes, monoprints, and woodcuts.

My most recent subjects are landscapes and interiors--specifically, Philadelphia interiors. Since moving there in 2005, my love for Philadelphia has steadily deepened.  It's now my favorite place to be.
